The process of therapy is unique to each individual, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they move toward growth, healing, and lasting change.
I provide a welcoming and affirming space for individuals of all identities, including those within the LGBTQ+ community. My experience includes working with a wide range of mental health concerns, including complex and longstanding emotional and relational patterns.
Therapy offers an opportunity not only to address challenges, but to develop greater self-understanding, resilience, and a deeper sense of direction.
Therapeutic Approach
Kathleen’s work is grounded in attachment theory, with a focus on understanding how early relationships and life experiences shape emotional patterns, relational dynamics, and a sense of self.
She integrates a range of evidence-based and insight-oriented approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Her work is also informed by psychodynamic, relational, and mindfulness-based perspectives.
Kathleen approaches therapy through a compassionate, person-centered lens, incorporating strength-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive practices.
Rather than applying a single framework, therapy is thoughtfully tailored to each individual—supporting meaningful, lasting change that is aligned with each client’s goals, values, and lived experience.
Beginning therapy is a meaningful step, often taken during times of uncertainty, transition, or emotional strain. My role is to provide a space that is steady, thoughtful, and grounded—where you can explore your experiences with clarity and without judgment.
Together, we work to deepen understanding, navigate complexity, and move toward meaningful and lasting change at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable.
